Cross Creek is a subdivision with 121 homes located in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The subdivision was established in 1988 and is within walking distance of downtown Rochester.  Our neighborhood has some paved sidewalks and is adjacent to the Hart Middle School campus.  Homeowners enjoy quiet streets, an abundance of trees, 6 acres of wetlands area and a family friendly environment.  Our Homeowners’ Association maintains the common areas throughout the subdivision for the benefit of all the homeowners.

Cross Creek is within close proximity to shopping, entertainment, fine restaurants, fitness facilities, churches, schools, and hospitals.   It is only a short drive to I-75 and M-59 expressways providing easy access to all of southeast Michigan.  We are located few short miles from the historic town of Rochester, the upscale Somerset Collection in Troy and The Village of Rochester Hills shopping areas .  We are also very close to the historic Stoney Creek Village and Van Hoosen Farm and Museum. 

We are only a few miles away is Stony Creek Metropark. The park extends across Oakland and Macomb counties,  and the 4,435 scenic-acres abound with opportunity for outdoor recreation all year long. Visitors can spend the day boating or swimming in 500-acre Stony Creek Lake. Hike, bike, run or inline skate through lush woodlands, serene wetlands and tall-grass prairies. In the winter,  visitors can walk, cross-country ski or snowshoe across marked trails. The winter sports area includes snowboard, sled and toboggan hills, as well.

 

The neighborhood is served by the Rochester School District. The K-12 age children of the residents of Cross Creek attend Hugger Elementary, Hart  Middle School and Stoney Creek High School. More information on these schools can be found at Rochester Community Schools website.

Rochester Hills was the only city in the  state of Michigan to be recognized in USA Today’s Top 50 Most Livable Cities and was ranked 14th Most Livable City in America.  Homes in Rochester Hills have continued to appreciate and are now valued at roughly $90,000 more than the U.S. median home value. Additionally, in 2016, Rochester Hills was recognized at the Safest City in Michigan and the 6th Safest City in the Nation according to FBI data.
